Antique Asian incense burner / perfume burner or oil lamp in bronze with a brown / red patina. Representing a sculpture of an oriental elephant carrying an archaic vase (in the image of a caparisoned elephant).
We date it to the early 19th or possibly 18th century.
Origin: Asia (China, Japan, Birman...).
Nice original condition, note that the snuffer above the elephant's trunk is missing (see pictures).
