Princess glassware set, 33 pieces, simple and modern Scandinavian design.
Created in 1957 by Danish designer Bent Severin, the ‘Princess' set stands out for its simple lines and iconic detail: a small drop-shaped air bubble trapped in the stem of each glass. Originally designed for the glassmaker Kastrup Glasværk, it was later produced by Holmegaard, one of Scandinavia's leading glass manufacturers. This model, available for several decades, illustrates Danish expertise in the art of glassblowing.
Set in very good condition. Please note that one water glass has two small chips on the rim (see last image).

Bent Severin (1925-2012).
Danish architect and industrial designer Bent Severin worked on numerous projects ranging from interior design to the creation of utilitarian objects. Collaborating with renowned manufacturers, he combined functionality and aesthetics in his creations. His partnership with Holmegaard gave rise to several iconic designs, including the ‘Princess' tableware set, appreciated for its masterful simplicity and recognisable visual identity.
