Biography:

THIRAN, Bernard (Kinshasa/Zaire, 1954).

Talented Belgian ceramist, trained in Antonio Lampecco's workshop (Florence Sepulchre, Bernard Thiran and Maurice Joly). Sometimes works with architects to integrate his work into buildings, notably the Casino in Namur and the Notre-Dame-au-Bois chapel in Wépion. In 1984, co-founder of ‘Namur Bouge'. Work acquired by the French Community. Active in Hastière-par-Delà. Later, he decorated his creations with motifs resembling graffiti.
