Denbac & Charles Greber, set of 7 stoneware miniature vases, France, early 20th century - Pignolet Gallery

Denbac & Charles Greber, set of 7 stoneware miniature vases, France, early 20th century

Set of seven miniature vases in glazed flamed stoneware, dating from the early 20th century. Their organic shapes evoke the plant world, reminiscent of gourds and cucurbits, in a style oscillating between Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

Various markings are visible on the underside of the vases, as shown in the photos. They appear to come from the Denbac or Charles Grébert factories in France.

The largest vase measures approximately 6 cm high, and the widest 4 cm. All in fine original condition.

An elegant collection, ideal for a showcase, with the advantage of taking up very little space.
