Biography:
Flory Roland (1905–1978) was a Belgian painter and sculptor who trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Liège, where she taught decorative arts. Her figurative work combines realism and poetry, with a preference for portraits, female figures, and symbolic scenes, in a soft and balanced palette.
