Biography:

Flory Roland was a Belgian painter and sculptor born in Liège in 1905 and died in 1978.

She studied from 1921 to 1930 with Jacques Ochs and Emile Berchmans, then in 1932 with Oscar Berchmans at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts in Liège, where she taught until 1970, mainly in the field of decorative arts.

In Paris, she also studied with O. Friesz and Charles Dufresne between 1930 and 1932. 

She was a member of the Cercle des Beaux-Arts de Liège, where she exhibited from 1940 to 1974.
