Weather station created by Huger (West Germany) in the 1960s, comprising a thermometer, hygrometer and barometer.
Chrome-plated steel structure, polycarbonate sputnik sphere rotating inside the "ring of Saturn", meticulously finished to a high quality.
Displays atmospheric pressure in inches of mercury and millibars, and temperature in degrees celcius, with various settings available.
The whole thing is in very good condition, the sphere is not cracked, and the instruments work perfectly.
Following the space epic and the launch into space of the Sputnik 1 satellite in 1957, the German company Huger created two models of weather station: a small globe model with antennae and an exclusive larger top-of-the-range model (the one we are offering) with the Saturn ring.
