Centerpiece in sulfide, blown glass known as “mercurized glass,” late 19th century.

Fruit or biscuit bowl with internally silvered glass, surface decorated with acid-etched motifs (vines and foliage), gilded interior, and an elegant pedestal base.

Good condition, with some minor losses to the silvering on the foot.
