Sculpture lamp in brilliant blue glazed stoneware, circa 1930 - Art Deco.
A combination of light, sculpture and inkwell, this desk or table lamp features a typical animal theme of the period and is exceptionally well made in brilliant blue enamelled stoneware.
This bird / pelican model appears to be rare, as no identical reference has been found, despite our extensive research.
Given the quality and the electrical assembly (bayonet soquet), it is probably a French production, possibly attributable to one of the following manufacturers: Charles Gréber, Denbac, Pierrefonds, Rambervillers, Frères Mougin, Bigot or Émile Muller.
The set is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Only the electrical cord needs to be replaced and a lampshade added.
